Lions edged out by West Heath (From Redditch Advertiser)

FOOTBALL: Alvechurch Lions were edged out 3-2 by West Heath as they exited the Bromsgrove and District League Premier Division Cup.

Alvechurch took the lead through Richard Skan but West Heath hit back when John Westwood and Aaron Westwood fired them ahead.

Skan replied for Lions but Ash Tullett bagged a late winner.

Results — WA Harris Cup quarter-final: Kings Park Rangers 0, Studley United 9.

Premier Division Cup quarter-final: Alvechurch Lions 2, West Heath United 3.

Bridgwater Cup round two: Hewell Grangers 5, North Colts United 6 (AET); Real Norton 2, AFC Ipsley 10.

Bridgwater Cup quarter-final: Belbroughton Athletic 1, Rubery Athletic 2 (AET).

There was only one result in the Redditch and South Warwickshire Combination League Premier as Athletico saw off Bromsgrove General La Coruna 1-0.
