MANAGER Dean Holtham rued defensive lapses after a rollercoater week for Alvechurch.
The Churchmen were edged out 1-0 by Rocester in the Midland Alliance on Saturday.
That was hot on the heels of thier 5-3 defeat to Hednesford in the Birmingham Senior Cup, despite goals for Ryan Edmunds, Jazz Luckie and Tristian Dunkley.
Holtham said: “We did not defend well enough against Hednesford.”
Alvechurch saw their Worcestershire Senior Urn clash at Bewdley called off last night because of a waterlogged pitch.
They go to Heather St John’s on Saturday (3pm ko) in the Midlands Alliance and then entertain Tividale on Tuesday (7.45pm ko).
