School teams to do battle

THE Redditch United Schools Cup final will be contested by year eight teams from Walkwood and defending champions St Bede’s Middle Schools on Monday, November 12.
Both sides have had to battle their way two leagues, organised by the town’s Sports Partnership, with a play-off deciding who makes the final at the Valley Ground. St Bede’s defeated a team from Ridgeway to take on Walkwood, who saw off Birchensale.
The action starts at 6.30pm.
