Without the Alex someone will die

WHILE driving home Monday evening I heard the siren of an ambulance. It’s lights were flashing and it was obviously on a call. I pulled over and it passed me just before the Atrix, heading towards Bromsgrove. When I got to the main island to turn to Redditch the ambulance was still trying to negotiate its way through heavy traffic. This really struck a chord and made me think. Someone was either seriously ill or lying by the side of the road waiting for help.

I WAS at the Alexandra Hospital, with several others recently where we were assured that the Health Minister would address some of the problems faced by our local medical departments.

DUE to the nature of local and national press coverage regarding the NHS, I have to admit I was a little apprehensive about the care I would receive during the birth of my first baby two weeks ago.
