MY sympathies to Anthony Bartlam who is frequently “cut up” on the Morrisons roundabout.
It seems to me that we are infested with drivers who are either totally ignorant of the Highway Code or are simply ill mannered, selfish morons.
I regularly use the Coventry Highway during the evening rush hour, driving from the Peugeot Garage in towards the town centre; I exit the dual carriageway in order to turn left onto the Alvechurch Highway.
The two lanes on the slip road are clearly marked, with a left pointing arrow in the left lane and straight on and right pointing arrows in the right lane, seems fairly logical and sensible to me.
However every evening many thoughtless cretins take the right hand lane and turn left, this move can be extremely dangerous and very annoying, perhaps a police officer should stand nearby one evening taking registration numbers.
The other alternative is that the left hand lane be made into a filter lane, therefore solving the problem.
