A questionable and blatant attack on our MP

I CAME to this town in 1978 on a visit.

I was born in London, lived in Surrey, the West Country for 15 years and Scandinavia.

The Midlands is the backbone of the country, the new town of Redditch being green and pleasant.

As a young student one of my friends lived in a Jewish children’s home, Osterley Park, London, as her parents were taken to a concentration camp.

Another friend, Bodil, came to England.

Germans had marched into her country.

Her father, a train driver took injured British airmen hidden on his train to the frontier.

The doctor living next door treated their wounds, was discovered, taken onto the street and shot, his house burnt, the family gone.

A young New Zealander remained concealed in the basement of the hosue until after the war.

My own father took supplies to the Russians, many of his comrades died.

It was instilled in me that you do not stir up racism, bigotry and fascism.

On Tuesday last, I was in Redditch.

There was a young man haranging a lady about her politics. He had a very loud voice and was trying to ‘goose step’ along the pavement.

He was in need of using his brain before opening his mouth.

He was narcissistic and aggressive. This person turned out to be a Mr Preston.

He was offensive to my sensibilties.

The good people of Redditch should think long and hard as to why there was a table with such material laid out in front of St Stephen’s Church.

The town gave the freedom of the borough to a worthy and venerable recipient Mr Walter Stranz.

What right do the likes of the Mr Prestons of this worls have to stir up and be responsible for the diatribe witnessed? What attainment has he achieved?

There should be a committee to look into the question of expenses.

MPs should be made to pay back what they have taken.

No-one said anything when a son of a certain Tory Prime Minister became lost in Equatorial Guinea in 2004 in the Sahara, was involved with the Sultan of Brunei, had shady dealings in Oman and Cementation, and in 1985 was involved in arms deals in Saudi Arabia and amassed a personal fortune of £60 million.

In 2004, there were questions in Harare, capital of Zimbabwe, Africa and in the end he was deported from Africa, being unwelcome in America.

We the tax payer paid to find him. The Speaker of the Commons should not be used as a scapegoat.

There has been a questionable and blatant attack on the MP for Redditch.

As I stood at Church Green, near to the war memorial honouring our war dead, I thought it was totally inappropriate for anyone to be allowed to harangue members of the public on the topic in question but then I was told that Mr Preston might have six toes.

What a totally disfraceful, outrageous and over the top diatribe from someone who knows not what the heck they are talking about. Is there no depths to which the pro Redditch Member of Parliament supporters will not sink.
This man has left himself open to all sorts of civil actions. Jumping from one emotional and controversial subject to another some without one iota of evidence, it has all the rant of someone who is not in full possession of rational facts and who's balance appears to be seriously impaired.
This disgraceful, totally irrelevant diatribe even has the effrontery to bring up the subject of Jewish oppression and our own war dead.
I am seriously disturbed that a local paper has allowed such an affront to decent, intelligent people to be printed.
The sole reason for this letter is as part of the campaign to boost the image of Jacqui Smith. If she wishes to retain a shred of credibility, she will herself write a letter to this paper, denouncing in the strongest terms the writer of it and disassociating herself from it and him.
Strong differences in politics is one thing, to sink to this disgusting and filthy level is quite another, what on earth came over the paper to print it.
This has all the fingerprints of a blogger on these streams and I would be immensely interested in the true identy of Mrs. A. Adams.
You are more tolerant than I Scott, I would now be consulting a solicitor in order to put Mrs. A. Adams in her place.
Quite and outrage.

Comparing people to nazi's for daring to differ in opinion to that of the Redditch Labour group is getting to be quite a habit. Remember this from Mary Trueman?

"If you are not a big mouthed Tory phoney like you nazi friends from The Dail Mail, put your money in the pot, one of you or both of the one of you.

I will write no more."

NAZI'S MARY??????????

What a pity we can't report a letter as well as a posted comment!

Ha Ha honest Scott

Which Tuesday was it then, how long does it take to get a letting in this newspaper?

Come Barry, if that is your real name, ask the editor he knows.

I wonder how Scott, you can be in Westminster and Town and everywhere else when most people have to work.

Who is sponsoring you? I am retired so I have earned the right to my days of leisure.

I also still pay tax and would hate to think I am paying for you to go swanning off to Westminster?

Are you employed?

Honest Scott? Do you do an honest days work.

Write a letter to this paper to this effect Scott, not many people have a computer and they will not be able to see your side of things.
We must never underestimate the Labour Party, after McBride and Draper getting together to start a website giving out deliberate lies about the Tory MPs.
What other party would dream of stooping to this level.

Yes Scott, write a letter including all the comments you have made.

After what I have read today re Jacqui Smith and her p-o-r-n viewing husband, you would think they would stop the namecalling and insults, before they look even sillier than they already do!
