Let’s be proud of our own hospital

WE regularly read and hear horror stories relating to individuals' experiences within our hospitals but rarely do we hear from those persons like myself who have good experiences.

In January I was admitted to the Alexandra Hospital's Elective Care Unit for major abdominal surgery.

Whilst on the unit I found myself in a totally alien situation incapacitated and recovering from major surgery.

I found the care that I received was excellent. Everyone that I had contact with was professional, courteous, supportive and caring. I believe that the high standard of care I received has greatly assisted me in my path to recovery.

The Alexandra Hospital and its staff are an asset, which we are lucky to have in our town and one which we should be proud of.
