All l can say as regards four consultants walking out (Re Tom Ebutt) is that they had obviously reached the end of their tethers!
The simple reason for all the strains on NHS and other services, roads, schools etc is the fact that there are far too many people on this island – nothing to do with discrimination; there are good and bad in all, irrespective of colour or creed. It’s pure common sense, something that is seriously lacking, especially by most ‘do gooders’ and weak politicians.
Over the last 15 years, my wife and l have been admitted for various problems, all sorted out brilliantly, and we found that we could not have been treated better, even if we were royalty. We have been many times to visit friends and relatives and they have all spoken highly of staff and treatment.
These people are doing a very difficult job with, sometimes, poor equipment.
We need this hospital, especially the A&E department so let us all get behind them and by any peaceful protest we can, in particular to lobby our MPs to get it and the problems sorted.
