OVER the Christmas period, many volunteered for The Redditch Winter Shelter.
Set up by Churches Together in Redditch, it offered winter shelter for individuals who find themselves homeless or those individuals in our community who are lonely and isolated over the festive period.
Whilst my daughter and I were on our shifts, we were given the task of shopping for items that we had run out of, we were both overwhelmed by the kind donations made by the following shops: Lidl, Poundland, Webheath Post Office, The Red China Restaurant, Sainsbury’s, Marks and Spencer’s, 99p Stores, Church Green Convenience Stores.
The shelter would like to thank all for their generosity.
