In reference to your article on November 5 regarding Paul Swansborough and Michael Braley, if these people want to be or continue to be Councillors perhaps they should learn a little about the history of Redditch. Up until 1972 Redditch had a grammar school called The Redditch County High School which changed it’s name, by a vote of the then pupils ( of which at the time I was one), this was then changed to the Abbey High School and then the current Trinity High School or Academy which we now call them. As a grammar school over 1,000 pupils were educated their every year, so the creation of Redditch’s first ever grammar school is just a lack of knowledge which seems to be forthcoming by those councillors who do not know their history and should not represent the local community.
