FEW people in Bromsgrove seem to be aware of the proposal to switch off lights from 10-11pm on Monday, August 4, and put a candle in the window to mark the tragic start of the First World War.
People I have spoken to think it is a great idea and feel it should be given more publicity.
It would also be nice if St John’s and other churches were to hold a Midnight Service on August 4 to bring the community together.
