If I could reassure Mr Vincent, I did attend the Christmas Craft Fair at Forge Mill.
In fact I was able to purchase a number of gifts for my family and support local traders. I saw Santa, sang carols with the brass band and even tried my hand at liquorice making.
Having been a councillor for 10 years I know it is difficult to attend every kind invitation extended but my colleagues and I do try to support the community as much as possible.
