THE members of the Lions Club would like to thank everyone from Redditch, Studley and surrounding areas who made generous donations to the country’s annual Children in Need campaign.
Once again, everybody knew the Lions would be in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre on Friday, November 15, as they have done ever since Terry Wogan, with the BBC, started collecting for the children. Many old faces came to donate their savings, accumulated over the last year and once the club has received the pledges given to us, the amount sent off to the campaign will be just over £1,100.
