I HAVE read the proposal in local press that Redditch United would like to move their ground to Washford and also that our MP Karen Lumley is backing a move.
I have also read that residents are objecting to houses being built near to Winyates Green wishing the area to remain as open fields.
Surely a good compromise for everyone would be to move Redditch football ground to the Winyates site thereby leaving this site as mostly open football fields with the only building being the clubhouse and stadium.
