AS my sight is very poor and I can see very little, I rely on the talking newspaper for the news.
Recently a letter to the editor praised certain parks in Redditch, but what about the neglected ones, like the one I have lived alongside for 31 years, Bomford Hill Park.
We bought our property in 1982 having checked with the then Redditch Development Corporation what would be adjacent to the bungalow.
We were told it was a park and no mention was made of a wood being planted.
Over the years trees have been allowed to take over the ground alongside my home.
There are now no paths, benches or play area.
The lovely ordinance map which my late husband cared for was allowed to deteriorate until it was removed.
The trees now block all natural light to the side and back of my home and seed steadily, taking root in and around my garden.
I have asked various local and county councillors to help, to no avail.
