IN response to Mrs D Hunter’s letter, published in the Advertiser on October 17 suggesting that I/the Save the Alex Campaign only attended one of the three main party conferences.
I am pleased to confirm that I and the campaign took the time to lobby all three main party conferences: photos to be found on facebook.com/savethealex.
I am disappointed Mrs Hunter did not take the time to contact me directly to raise any concerns she may have had before writing openly about them, seemingly confident she would undermine my claims that the Save the Alex Campaign is apolitical.
I would also suggest to Mrs Hunter that in future before you so confidently condemn me that you take the time to research the facts such as the spelling of my name, Neal not Neil.
I trust the Save the Alex Campaign will be backed by Mrs Hunter, even though she appears unable to back me.
Neal Stote
Chairman of the Save The Alex Campaign
