Redditch Choral Society
The performance of 'Haydn's Creation' on Saturday evening at St Stephen's Church in the centre of Redditch was truly memorable. It was a privilege for me as an amateur member of Redditch Choral Society to sing with three fantastic professional soloists and a professional orchestra. Many of the appreciative audience found the performance intense and emotional. The interpretation of this beautiful piece by the 90 year old Director of Music and Conductor, Alma Bright Clarke was very well received and the final chorus of 'Sing the Lord ye Voices all', where the chorus was joined by the three soloists, made a rousing end to a splendid evening.
The Redditch Choral Society members would like to thank all who made this concert possible.
