This month we considered the Resolutions, one on the care of dementia patients while in hospitals and the other on food waste. Sue Gee and Joan Lovett each presented information on one of these and after discussion, the first was carried unanimously, and the second with one vote against. After this we enjoyed an American Supper, brought by members.
We are sending a birthday card to the Queen, made by Jill Davies and signed by each member. Being sad to hear of Victoria Wood's death, as a tribute to her we sang 'The Ballad of Freda and Barry' accompanied by Georgia Jacobs on her guitar. The prizes for a Music Quiz, concerned with memories, mind and food were a bunch of bananas and a bunch of carrots.
