WORCESTERSHIRE Wildlife Trust’s Redditch group recently enjoyed a detailed and informative illustrated talk given by the Trust’s water and wetland officer, Lucy Wood. Lucy explained the importance of wetland in the natural environment and went on to give examples of the considerable work being done by the Trust on its reserves and elsewhere in the county.
The Redditch group meets every third Wednesday in the month, in Rowney Green Village Hall at 7.30pm. The next speaker will be the local naturalist Gary Farmer, who will be talking about Bugs and Weeds of Worcestershire on November 18. Admission is just £2 and non-members are very welcome.
