TEARS of the Dragon entertained us this month, a Chinese folk tale explaining the origin of pearls.
Frances Benton gave a most informative and entertaining talk, and brought a selection of necklaces for us to admire and buy, with all profits going to a charity which looks after street orphans in South Africa.
The Craft Club re-starts this month; there is a tour of the Houses of Parliament, and in December, a visit to Abbey Cwm Hir. The competition was won by Sue March. Our next meeting will be the Harvest Supper. It will be at 7 pm at Beoley Village Hall.
A group photo will be taken. The competition will be for a church photograph.
