Speaker Mr Betts with his wife took us through a journey of photographs they had taken to depict the wonderful world we live in. Mrs Betts started the presentation about their visit to Whitley Court, pictures showing the magnificent building,albeit in ruins, which is complimented by the vast gardens and ornamental fountain.
The secretary then took members through the many events that are coming up in the next few months as the National Organisation prepares the special celebrations for it’s centenary year.
Then members enjoyed a quiz guessing the names of photos of well know personalities.
The WI meets the second Wednesday of each month 7.30pm at Cookhill Village Hall.
