THERE was a good turnout again, including some new faces, for the coffee morning.

The chairman gave details of forthcoming events around the town, including those which will be held in the bandstand during the summer.

Members were asked to make a special effort to attend the annual meeting on May 15. Speaker Stuart Cooper, from the Stroke Association, gave an informative talk on how to tell if someone has had a stroke and what action to take.

He also gave details of the Life After Stroke Centre in Bromsgrove, where help and support is available, on the premises and in the community.

Next coffee morning is 10am in the Ecumenical Centre on May 8. Anyone over 55 is invited to join in.
