PRESIDENTS Carol Kinsey welcomed Members and four visitors to the October meeting.

We were told that unfortunately the speaker from The Dogs Trust was unable to attend. Apologies were given, birthdays and anniversaries were announced.

Business was conducted, including dates for our diaries.

The group carol service is at Hanbury on December 3 and the federation carol service at Worcester Cathedral on December 8.

Carol gave a report of the group kurling match that took place at Feckenham recently, a fun evening but we were not successful this year.

The president conducted a quiz which was to identify as many breeds of dogs from pictures as possible which was more difficult than we thought.

After the break the raffle was drawn and the treasurer announced that the trading table made a profit of £20.

Winner of flower of month was Rita Massey.

The competition for as many words as possible from the words The Dogs Trust was won by Judith Scott with 158 words.

The president welcomed Sylvia Edwards to Ipsley WI who joined as a new member on that evening.

Ipsley WI meets at Winyates Green Community Centre on the second Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm.

Visitors are welcome to join us.
