ALL the numbers are adding up for staff and students of Studley High School after its maths department scooped £500 worth of vouchers to spend on new learning equipment.
The school won the vouchers at the Education Show in a prize draw organised by national schools procurement company The Consortium.
The vouchers can be spent on The Consortium’s extensive range of school learning equipment through its annual catalogue or online at www.theconsortium.co.uk.
Sue Joyce, head of maths at the Crooks Lane school, said: “We were amazed when we won the vouchers and we’re drawing up our ‘wish-list’ of things to buy from The Consortium.
“Maths has an image of being a bit dry, so we’re looking to buy lots of hands-on practical pieces of equipment to bring the subject to life for the students.”
Brian Potter, marketing and sales director at The Consortium, said: “Congratulations to Studley High School. The maths department will find an extensive range of top quality maths essentials from The Consortium for all ages to enjoy.”
