WITH a typical British summer in mind, youngsters from Beoley First School are more then prepared for the worst.
Pupils, aged between five and six-years-old, have been given a range of wet-weather gardening gear so they can work in their communal garden.
Green waterproofs and wellington boots were given to the school by local firm, Oakland International.
Headteacher, Sally Davies, said: "These waterproofs are fantastic. We are now able to explore our wonderful outdoor environment in all weathers.
"A big thank you goes out from all staff and children."
Oakland, who having a longstanding policy of community integration and commitment to environmental principles, were happy to help.
Oakland International director Sallie Attwell said: "We were delighted to lend a hand and provide the children with new waterproofs for their gardening and environmental school activities.
"They all seemed to approve of their new wet gear as they were putting it on as soon as we opened the box."
