AFTER 25 years of loyal service as school secretary, Pauline Jones is locking up her filing cabinet and moving on to the more relaxing prospect of retirement.

Pupils joined her on the last day of the summer term for a fond farewell.

Pauline has worked at Astwood Bank First School for a quarter of a century, seeing thousands of children through the school, and now she's taking a much deserved chance to put her feet up.
