YOUNGSTERS from Pitcheroak Special School recently got to party with characters from Alice in Wonderland as part of a special celebration.
The Mad Hatters Tea Party, held at the Botanical Gardens in Birmingham, is one of the biggest charity parties for disabled young people in the country, attracting around 1,000 youngsters.
Stephen Goldstein, who came up with the idea, said: "It was a brilliant day out not just for the children but also the adults. Many of these children might not otherwise get a treat like this.
"We would welcome any sponsorship from companies who want to be involved in what is one of the most rewarding charity events of the summer."
