School raises funds in midsummer madness!

HUNDREDS of people enjoyed a day of fun at the Friends of Webheath First School's Midsummer Madness Fayre.

The event took place on Saturday, June 28.

There was a number of activities people could take part in, including lending a hand to Redditch Fire Brigade who turned up for the day, and even soaking a teacher or the headmistress by hurling wet sponges at them.

The event raised about £1,600 for school funds.
