KIND-HEARTED youngsters from 11th Redditch Rowan Beavers in Headless Cross donated £50 to Charlotte and Craig’s Saving Hearts Foundation.
The charity was formed by Rob and Maggie Underwood, who lost two of their children through undiagnosed heart conditions.
Last week, the group received a visit from Mr Underwood as well as the charity’s new mascot Doc McStuffins.
The charity campaigns for defibrillators to be installed in various locations as well as raising funds to purchase them for the town and further afield.
Beaver Scout leader Lesley Spencer said it was great to be able to help yet another local charity and the Beavers are already discussing who they would like to help next.
The money was raised by each Beaver Scout bringing in 10p for a drink and biscuit each week.
Over the last few years, more than £2,200 has been raised by the Beavers for local charities.
