VINYL records and cassettes from the late 1950s to early 1990s will be "popping up" in Redditch next week.

Independent music retail and entertainment business, Vintage Trax, is returning to the Kingfisher Shopping Centre in a new location on Tuesday (November 4), opening at noon.

The pop-up shop will be next to Costa Coffee, en route to Car Park 3, in Evesham Walk, until at least the new year.

Vintage Trax stocks "pre-loved" vinyl albums, 45s and cassettes, music-related books, DVDs and merchandise and memorabilia.

It also has a range of music-related home and gift items handcrafted from old and damaged vinyl records - and old, reconditioned record decks and cassette players.

The spell back in Redditch follows a successful stint in the Kingfisher Centre between November last year and May.

Owner Ros Sidaway said she was looking forward to being back in the town where she first started out in record retailing more than 35 years ago, with Woolworths.

She said: “We were overwhelmed by the public’s response to the opening of our vinyl record shop and we were sad to leave the Kingfisher but we already had commitments with music festivals and events throughout the summer.

“With the vinyl revival showing no sign of slowing down, we’ve a greater range of preloved LPs and 45s and look forward to welcoming customers, both returning and new, to our shop”
