A LEADER from 2nd Woodrow Brownies has decided to say “goodnight Brownies” one last time as she leaves the unit after completing almost 30 years.
At a recent pajama party, Dawn Griffin was presented with cards and gifts from the girls including an engraved glass plaque as a thank you for all her hard work and dedication over the years.
As assistant Brownie leader 'Tawny Owl' has participated in many pack holidays and sleepovers over the years and even attended the occasional division camp.
Hundreds of trips have been taken part in at local and county level with her last outing being to Conkers where she took part along with the girls in the barefoot mud walk.
Although she is looking forward to spending more time with her family she has agreed to help out in the unit occasionally.
