A NEW yoga, pilates and wellness centre is opening at the old Speeds Cycles shop in Bromsgrove this July.

Daily Bread Yoga and Wellness Centre will host an array of dedicated yoga and pilates classes including beginners’ sessions, pregnancy yoga, post natal pilates, traditional hatha yoga for all levels and vinyasa flow.

Full-time Physio 206 physiotherapist Gary Jones will also be on-site treating athletic injuries and physical ailments, and there will be a holistic treatment room available for hire, plus a members’ lounge.

Since establishing Daily Bread Yoga last year, studio owner Faye Jones has successfully run a mixture of independent and gym-based yoga classes in Bromsgrove and Longbridge.

Faye hopes the new studio will cater for a ‘significant demand’ in the area for wellbeing services.

Bromsgrove Advertiser:

She said: “I have witnessed firsthand the powerful effects that regular yoga practice can have on a person’s physical capabilities and mental health.

"Many students attend their first session having experienced injury or experiencing emotional stresses and struggles.

"We are able to modify the practice so that it remains safe and engaging whilst still offering the benefits associated with the practice."

A planning application to convert the former bike shop into a yoga studio was approved by Bromsgrove District Council in April 2017.

The centre will officially open to the public on Saturday, July 7, with free classes, sports massages and physiotherapy consultations taking place between 9am and 1pm.

Booking will be available from Saturday, July 1 at dailybreadyoga.com.
