TOP jockeys and trainers are set to give tips and predictions at a preview event in aid of hospice care – ahead of a prestigious race week.
The St Richard’s Hospice Cheltenham Races Preview Evening is taking place at The Wood Norton, near Evesham, on Tuesday, March 6– a week before the Cheltenham Festival kicks-off.
Dr Richard Newland, trainer of the 2014 Grand National winner Pineau De Re, is on the line-up, alongside top jockeys Harry Skelton and Paddy Brennan.
Kelly Johns, fundraiser at St Richard’s in Worcester, said: “We can’t wait for a top-class evening of racing tips and views ahead of the much-anticipated festival week.
“With a great line-up of speakers – our preview evening is a night not to be missed for any horse racing enthusiasts.
“And the best part is, it’s all raising money to support our hospice care! We hope to see you there.”
The evening includes a two-course meal, tea and coffee, and begins from 6.15pm.
Tickets are priced at £35 per person. To book, contact Kelly Johns on 01905 763963 or kjohns@strichards.org.uk, or visit strichards.org.uk/cheltenham-races-preview-evening/
