A MAN who died in a single car crash on the A4110 near Leominster on Saturday has been named.
Herefordshire Coroner's Court opened and adjourned an inquest today and named the deceased as Nicolai-Cristian Gavrila of High Street, Ross-on-Wye.
The 31-year-old was declared dead at the scene on Brinshope Lane in Wigmore after the silver Ford Galaxy he was driving collided with a tree at around 5.25am on December 16.
A woman and three men also travelling in the car were taken to hospital.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw the vehicle in the moments leading up to the collision should call 101 and quote incident 139 of 16 December 2017.
