SOME schools in the county will remain closed tomorrow due to the snow and ice.
Those which have confirmed closures for tomorrow (Wednesday, December 13) so far are:
Fairfield High School in Peterchurch due to icy conditions, limited bus services and poor road conditions.
Leintwardine Primary School due to the current road conditions of Watling Street. The site and approach to school is currently unsafe due to ice. They will be postponing the Nativity play until after the Christmas break.
St Mary's CE Primary School, Credenhill. Not enough teaching staff can access the main roads in order to travel to school safely and the school site is still dangerous due to compacted snow and ice.
Much Birch CE Primary School. A high number of staff are still unable to travel along side roads and gain access to the main roads safely in order to travel to work.
Barrs Court School - the school sites are still unsafe due to snow and ice.
Kingstone & Thruxton Primary School
Kingstone High School
Lady Hawkins School, Kington
Luston Primary and Nursery due to the current road condition of Westland View.
Blackmarston School - the continued icy conditions mean that the roads around school have not been treated and are treacherous
St Weonards Primary - not enough staff can travel safely to the school site.
Lord Scudamore Academy- not enough staff can reach main roads.
Kings Caple Academy. The school is closed due to snow and black ice.

Partial Closure:
Whitecross Hereford, High School and Specialist Sports College will be open to students in Year 7 and Year 11.
Aylestone School open ONLY to years 7, 10 and 11. They are unable to have Years 8 & 9 in school due to some staff being unable to get to school safely.
Leominster Primary School - OPEN 13th December 2017 from 10am FOR KS1 AND KS2 CHILDREN ONLY
Broadlands Primary School – open only to Years 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6
