A HIGH-street chain coffee shop has closed its doors in Hereford.
Starbucks in Commercial Street stopped trading yesterday. All of the signs, fittings and fixtures have already been removed.
There is a notice in the doorway saying the nearest Starbucks is now at Ross-on-Wye.
The Ross store is on the A449.
A spokesman for Starbucks did not comment on why the branch has closed.
Florent Arcin, operations manager, Queensway Coffee Houses Ltd, said: "Our Starbucks store in Hereford closed on October 8, after being part of the local community for 13 years.
"We’d like to thank our customers for their loyalty, and for those customers in the Ross-on-Wye area, the Starbucks store on Ledbury Road is open and ready to welcome you in for a great cup of coffee.”
