STAFF at Pets at Home in Blackpole have raised almost £2,000 for two animal charities.
They sold scratch cards to customers and raised £1,890, splitting the proceeds between Worcester and District Cats Protection - their chosen charity this year - and the Support Adoption for Pets Grant Programme, which funds other rescue projects.
A Cats Protection spokesperson said: "A huge thank you to Henry and his staff for the fantastic £945 cheque they presented to us.
"We're absolutely thrilled to receive these funds, as we are in the process of replacing a number of old and decrepit foster pens with brand new, state-of-the-art pens where the cats and kittens in our care will be far more comfortable."
