A CHARITY shop was broken into in Bridge Street, with jewellery and a PAT tester stolen.
The burglary happened overnight on Saturday January 13, with thieves also carrying out an untidy search.

Burglars also broke into a business premises in nearby Vine Street on the same night, but they appear to have been disturbed and nothing was stolen.

In the same week, thieves also broke into a shop in Bridge Street via a roof light.
It is not known if anything was stolen in the burglary at around midnight on Wednesday January 10.
