A WOMAN was taken to hospital after a crash on a busy Kidderminster road this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Chester Road North, near to the Rose Theatre, at around 4pm on November 21, following reports of a crash between two vehicles.
A spokesman from West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We treated one patient, a woman in her 70s, who was driving one of the cars.
"She was treated for back pain and taken to Worcester Royal Hospital."
Two ambulances were sent to the scene.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police added: "The incident involved a silver Vauxhall Meriva and a grey Volkswagen Golf.
"The driver of the Vauxhall, a woman in her 70s was taken to hospital as a matter of precaution."
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident reference number 466S of November 21.
