A NURSERY in Sidemoor is closing its doors after more than two decades caring for children and families in Bromsgrove.

Daisychain Home Nursery, on Broad Street, was first launched by Sue Onions and Janet Turberville in 1994, and has cared for children in the district for the past 23 years.

With Sue and Jan now retiring, it will close for the final time at 6pm on Friday, July, 21, with all children and staff marking the occasion with a party.

Sue and Jan said: “All the children and staff will be enjoying a party day on Friday to mark the end of an era.

“We would like to thank all the children and families who have attended Daisychain, past and present, for all their support and custom over the years and to wish them and all the staff success and happiness in the future.”

The party will include a bouncy castle, games and ice creams.
