KIND solicitors will be helping raise funds for a Kidderminster hospice by writing wills for people in exchange for donations.

Kemp Hospice’s Make a Will week will take place between Monday, May 22 and Friday, May 26 with seven firms from across Wyre Forest taking part.

The scheme gives people the opportunity to make or amend their will while supporting the work of the hospice.

Cathy Sloan, Head of Fundraising said: “We are so grateful to all the solicitors taking part again this year.

“They are giving their time, free of charge, to update or write a will; and in return we ask those who take part to make a donation to the Hospice.

“Last year’s campaign raised more than £11,000. The money raised helps us to continue caring for local people in the Wyre Forest who are dealing with the challenge of life limiting illness, or loss, and provide much needed support to their loved ones.”

There are only a limited number of appointments are available, so everyone is encouraged to book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Anyone wanting to take part should contact any of the firms participating and mention KEMP Hospice Make a Will Week.

The appointment must be made during the week May 22 to 26 but can be arranged for a more convenient time outside of that week.

The firms taking part are mfg Solicitors, Norris and Miles Solicitors, Painters Solicitors, Talbots Law, Thursfields Solicitors, Worcestershire Wills and Wright Solicitors.
