A ONE-day event for families and children to see working woodland in action, is being held at Worcester Woods Country Park.
The event, Woodlands Alive! has been organised by Worcestershire Countryside Services and is being held at the country park between 10am and 3pm on Sunday, March 5.
There will be heavy horses, willow weaving, wood turning, pole lathe, metal art, bush craft, woodland craft stall, children's activities and much more.
Tanya Feasey, assistant countryside sites officer, said: "This is a fun, free family event where you can see a working woodland in action.
"Learn all about traditional woodland craft and come and see the heavy horses dragging huge logs through the woodland."
Tickets are not needed for the event, people can just turn up on the day. Anyone interested in exhibiting, or for more information, can call either Rob Stevenson or Tanya Feasey on 01905 766155.
