A TRIKE stolen from a disabled woman has been returned to the owner after being found.
The Worcester News has previously reported on the theft of Tammy Beckley's bright red, mobility tricycle, stolen last weekend.
Mum Denise, who lives in Hawthorn Road, Worcester, and is the full-time carer for her daughter Tammy - who has severe learning difficulties - said she felt "sick and angry" when she discovered the bike had been taken.
But in good news overnight, PC Andrew Blackford has now reported that the bike has been recovered and the trike has been returned to the Beckley family, after a member of the public found the trike.
It will no doubt be a relief to the family, as Ms Beckley had previously said it could cost thousands of pounds to replace the trike.
Police have previously released a CCTV image of two men they would like to speak to in relation to the theft, and PC Blackford added they are still attempting to track down the men.
The theft took place between 11.20pm on Sunday, November 27 and 9.20am on Monday, November 28
Anyone who recognises either of the men can call police on 101, quoting incident number 182S of November 28.
