PARENTS went back to school to mark the opening of a spruced up unit at Stourport Primary School.
The school invited parents and members of the community to an event on Monday, June 13, to help launch their Foundation Stage Unit for students aged two to five.
As part of Science Week, parents were also able to participate in lessons with their children, while people were also handed guided school tours from Year 6 children.
Clair Yarranton, Foundation Stage Leader, said: "It’s an exciting time here at Stourport Primary School as we open our newly refurbished facility.
"We are committed and enthusiastic in ensuring all children learn and develop in a happy and safe environment.
"The formation of the Foundation Stage Unit means that when children first arrive at two years old, they are fully integrated into the school environment and ethos."
