COTSWOLD/Austrian group Two Ways Home follow the release of their debut four-track EP ‘Wood For Trees’ with their first homecoming show in the Cotswolds.

The debut EP showcased their country infused folk rock for the first time following a life changing pilgrimage to Nashville in 2013.

Founded by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Lewis Fowler from the tiny Cotswold village of Draycott, and vocalist, autoharp and ukulele specialist Isabella Mariee, who was born in Vienna, Austria, Two Ways Home are a five piece band with a united vision to bring the spirit and experience of Nashville back to the UK.

Growing up on a diet of Simon and Garfunkel, Prince, Led Zeppelin, Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder to name just a few, the music future of Two Ways Home was never a sure thing. However as the vocal harmonies of Lewis and Isabella combined for the first time destiny took a hand.

But it was a desire to hone their skills as songwriters and learn from the best that led them to a career defining three-week pilgrimage to Nashville in 2013. Never before had the advice and kindness of strangers meant so much, they experienced the true spirit and support of Nashville. From songwriting advice and loan of a US cell phone by the late British born Nashville resident and songwriter Lorna Flowers to inspiring gigs by Stacia Watkins and Jason Sellers, Two Ways Home lived the Nashville circuit and were welcome with open arms. They returned to the UK with a passion to convey emotion in their music and have the audience feel the song, and that shines through in ‘Wood for Trees.’

With Isabella and Lewis are Chris Brice, drums and percussion, Raymond Tognola, bass and Adam East, guitars.

Two Ways Home is appearing at The Swan, High Street, Moreton, on Friday May 8.
