CHILDREN from across Droitwich have been looking after their local environment with two litter picks organised by Fortis Living.
Youngsters from Westlands First School and Chawson Community First School came out to spend time in their local areas collecting bags of litter to brighten up the community.
Fortis Living’s community officer Paul Edwards helped take part in the litter picks. He said: “We run the litter picks on a regular basis and like to get school children involved where possible as it teaches them to take pride in their community.”
More than 100 children took part in the litter picks over two days, managing to collect 40 bags of rubbish from the streets of Droitwich.
