THE Chanterelles Ladies' Choir is set to perform at Lickey Parish Church on Saturday, September 13.
Starting from 7pm, the choristers will sing a variety of works including, Holst's 'Hymn of the Travellers', Musetta's ‘Waltz, ‘Somewhere over the Rainbow’ and ‘How Can I Keep From Singing.’
As the group, which began as a youth choir, is made up of young women from all over the country they do not often perform concerts.
They reformed in 2009 and recently won ladies' choir competitions at the International Eisteddfod, the North Wales Choral Festival, and the Isle of Man Choral Festival.
The group appeared on Sainsbury's Choir of the Year in 2000 where they came second in the youth choir section.
Tickets cost £5 and will be available on the door.
