YOUNG football stars from St Bede's Catholic Middle School have been celebrating after winning the district football championship.
Year 5 pupils played a number of games before facing Church Hill Middle School in the final drawing 1-1.
But team captain Declan Print sealed the championship by scoring in extra time.
Matt Russell, PE teacher at St Bede's, said:
"It was a very close district championship and the boys did very well to beat off some close competition."
