Children’s Saturday musem club

CHILDREN interested in art and history have the opportunity to take part in sessions run by experts, including artists and archaeologists.
The club is being set up by Forge Mill Needle Museum and will take place once a month on a Saturday. There are five sessions planned for this season.
The first session, themed around the museums Wacky Widgets exhibition, is called Inspiring Inventions, and takes place on Saturday, May 10 between 10am-noon.
Children will be able to explore the crazy Victorian inventions in the exhibition as well as having a go at creating their own.
The club is aimed at children aged 8 years and over and the annual fee to include all five sessions for this year as well as extras is £18.
