FECKENHAM Village Wake committee may erect a pavilion on the playing field - reputed to be the site of an ancient hunting lodge of King John - Redditch Urban District Council was told last Thursday.
Councillor W Allcock, who is one of the representatives for Astwood Bank and Feckenham, said that the Wake committee were beginning to accumulate a certain amount of funds, and it was their intention to erect a pavilion on the field for dressing room facilities.
The council said it had no objections to the scheme in principle but any plans submitted would need approval.
